What types of writing do you edit?
I specialize in speculative fiction—especially science fiction—and I love working with queer writers across genres. I also edit blog posts, website copy, Substack posts, and newsletters.
Do I have to be LGBTQ+ to work with you?
Not at all! While queer voices and stories are my passion, I welcome anyone who wants their story handled with respect and care to maintain your own voice.
Can I see a sample edit before committing?
Absolutely! I offer a free sample edit of up to 1,000 words for novels so you can get a feel for my style. Just send me your excerpt with some info about your project. Short-form writing sample edits are also available.
How long will it take to edit my project?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a straightforward answer. Some of the factors that determine how long a edit takes include word count, type of editing requested, and how much self-editing has been done. It takes a lot longer to copyedit a first draft than it does even a second draft.
Need it sooner? I may be available for rush jobs for an additional fee—just ask!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Larger projects can be split into payments. Generally, a 50% deposit is required to book, with the remainder due on delivery.
